June News from Seymour

It is a beautiful hot morning. The temperature will hit over 90 degrees again they say. We have had two incredible days with Courtney. She is a doll...we had fun playing Liverpool, looking at her yearbook, chatting, eating, seeing her basketball video, and new lap top, etc. etc.

Benny's appointment with the doctor on the 17th went well. He has to be careful for another week

but can drive so that is good. They will do pacemaker updates by phone, a new procedure, and he will see the doctor again next month. Had a pro time yesterday and his blood is to thin so we're working on that. His incision is healing and less tender. So...we are happy about the progress, even if he thinks it is slow. This has been an emotional adjustment for him.

This is birthday month. Jessie,. on the 14th, and we had a neat party here with all the family. Spencer's 21st on the l6th plus Aunt Sister in Wichita, #98! Sharlotte on the 17th, Benjie, the 20th, and Benny the 28th. Celebrations daily, ha! Oh yes, our 51st Anniversary on the 21, first day of summer. So much to be thankful for, huh?
