Weather is really warm this week...92 degrees today. Our deck plants are beautiful but they are daily calling for water, like everything else.
Benjie, Kathy and kids came out for hamburgers, corn on the cob, other goodies and cherry pie alamode. It was so hot it was hard to be outside but Julie got on the tractor and had fun cutting some of the lawn. Mikey and Danny built another log city, Jessie practiced her gymnastic's routine and Benny had a wedding conference with Shanda and Danny. Everyone kept the house buzzing with chatter. Kathy found retreat on the deck with her new book.
Sent a birthday wish to Pat Turner. Watched the news report of Gustoff and felt compassion for those people again living in that area.
Hope Emily had a good flight to Alaska.
