Friday we went to Down From His Glory a Christian music evening that was inspirational and dynamic. About 20 different artists sang musical favorites while others played instruments, and used drama. They come each year in Sept. or Oct. and do four performances. We stayed in the Welk Hotel overnight.
Sunday we went to Billings to the United Church of Christ where we enjoyed a very friendly congregation. Benny did an excellent job speaking on Fear or Faith. We ate at Zios on the way home...always a treat!
Saturday night Hurricane Ike made a violent appearance by its 50 mile an hour wind. The rain was wild beating against the house and electricity disappeared. This made getting dressed and applying make up, in the dark, interesting to say the least. Good for a laugh!
