Sunday, the 24th, the congregation sang Happy Birthday to me.
Monday, the phone rang continually with wonderful calls from all over the country. What fun! Beautiful cards were opened with great joy...love those cards. In the evening Steve and Cate came with Chinese dinner which was delicious. They also brought a delicate flower bouquet and lovely vase. We played Liverpool Rummy and had many good laughs in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace. Weather is cold and now we're promised a huge ice and snow storm tonight. So...we wonder what the weekend will hold. Every Sunday in Jan. has been very cold, or foggy, or raining...doesn't help attendance but we've had good services anyway. Hope your week is the best.
