Fun Times!

December 27th was our Christmas. Benjie and Steve's families made it a lively exciting day. We read the Christmas story, sang all the Christmas favorites with piano, organ and Steve on the drums. Yes, there was a delicious ham dinner, with Kathy's green beans and Cate's fruit salad. Then, we had to see what was in the Christmas Stockings, and play Liverpool Rummy!
Making it even better was having Stephanie and Courtney here from ID. New Year's Day Benjie's family came. We all enjoyed food and a movie. They stayed all night...fun! In the morning we had strata and coffee cake requested by the kids.
Monday night, Jan. 4th, the gang all met at Danny and Shanda's new home with the large TV for the Fiesta Bowl. Boise State University and TCU played a great game and BSU won! Wow! We all brought Mexican food, what an assortment and was it yummy! (Food is important to us, as you can tell, ha!) During all of this time we've had snow and very cold weather hovering around O degrees, brrrr. Oh yes, Sammy turned 3 on the second and Danny and Shanda had anniversary #1 on the third. Benjie was #1 selling real estate for Carol Jones in 2009. The new year has started with a bang....Wow! a new decade. Hoping this is a great week and new year for you...blessings.
