After a delightful morning worship service in Seymour, and a great welcome home from the congregation, we jumped in the car and headed back to Tulsa... Jan and Sharlotte's church presentation of the Christmas story was to be at 6:00. Shannon, their son, was in charge of building all the Bethlehem set which covered the sanctuary stage. He is so talented, working for ORU and taking classes to finish his degree. The performance included a cast of over 200, live animals, and special video presentations. Shannon gave us a tour backstage where we met many of the actors.
Again we stayed with Jan and Sharlotte enjoying many laughs and family stories. All 5 of our kids called on their cell phones to find us. They couldn't believe we were back in Tulsa!
Monday morning we drove home, unpacked, got back in the car and went to Springfield to attend Julie and Jessie's magnificent Christmas Choral Concert. There were 300 students involved. The evening was capped with delicious Braums' ice cream.
