Home Again!
We are back in Seymour. After church, Nov. 22 we drove to Tulsa, stayed all night with Jan and Sharlotte (Benny's brother) and left for Seattle on the 23. It was exciting seeing the Isoms. It had been over a year since we had admired our darling granddaughters. There was fun cooking for Thanksgiving, preparing the turkey, and pumpkin chiffon pies plus other yummy things. Russ and Judy Isom came too. Friday, Scott left for Nashville to finish last minute tour planning. He and Debbie were tour hosts for 31 people celebrating Christmas in Nashville and surrounding areas. We enjoyed taking care of the girls...what a delight! Hannah with Bokaw's (Benny's) encouraging painted her first oil painting which was framed for mom and dad to see when they returned. Both Hannah and Haley practiced piano with Bokie (Elaine) every day and can play their whole Christmas book like a professional. Hope sang all the songs in her book and played along with Bokie...great fun! Scott and Deb came home on the 9th and we left the 12th...not before spending a day at the beach though...cold as it was we played in the water, collected shells, and had clam chowder, a must do!! Our trip home was long since we had a 4 hour unplanned lay-over in Denver. Jan was there with our car though and we continued the trek home arriving four hours later. Yes, we were on time for church the next morning. We were blessed...God is good!
