Installation Day At Seymour

Yesterday, August 16, was a special day as Benny was installed by Mike Weinman, Area Minister, as part time minister at Seymour Christian. The church was full, (the biggest attendance since we have been here). Great enthusiasm continued during our wonderful ham and pot-luck dinner.
Benjie, Kathy, Julie, Jessie, and Mikey came late because they couldn't find the church...(population 2,000, Seymour). They were escorted by a policewoman (Benjie said, "It was the first time I followed a police car rather than a police car following me, hah). Steve and Catherine were late because they had to be at Gateway for his drum playing. We were thrilled they arrived, better late than never, ha! They all came out to the house and we had a rip-roaring game of Liverpool Rummy...Julie won, Grandma came in second...what a delight for Julie!
Next Saturday is Christian Church night at the Springfield Cardinal Game. We have 28 going from Seymour. We'll be car pooling so should be a fun evening.
A new week, new opportunities, new challenges...only God knows but will tell us soon. Have a great week! Don't forget to smile, laugh, and pray. Blessings...
