August 25, A Beautiful Day!

Another week has zoomed by...wow! Today it is georgous, weatherwise, so the lawn is calling Benny for a trim and I wonder what projects I'll tackle...so many to choose from, ha!! Preparing for two Bible classes keeps me on target, but oh, so enjoyable. They are Adult SS (O. T.- Moses) and Wed. night study, I Peter).
We have a new family member, Whiskers. He appeared last week under the Willow tree in the front yard. He's so little, almost a newborn. So...we're enjoying a deck kitty who loves us and our milk. Surprizing how two old foggies like us can enjoy a little intruder.
Saturday, 22 from the church attended a Cardinal's game in Springfield. Great fun for all and they even won. There is a happy spirit at the church and we are grateful.
Attendance Sunday continues to grow and we are seeing new faces and kids which is a plus. Now we have to work on curriculum for children, which I have, but haven't got it going yet. The kids love Benny's children's story...he always could entertain with those big eyes, haha!
Looking forward to Ron and Lois Ingersoll's visit Friday-Tuesday. We have had such great times togther and so many memories to share over the last 5 decades. Branson is even calling.
Have a super week...be sure to laugh alot, and smile more...Blessings.
